IRINI KATSOURAKI
Mrs. Irene Katsouraki was born in Rhodes in 1979.
She graduated from the School of Optometry of University of Manchester-UMIST in England in 2000.
From 2000 to 2007 she worked as an optometrist in the company Andrews Opticians and the Royal Free Hospital in London from where acquired the license to practice the profession.
In 2007 she obtained the Masters in Health Services Management from City University of London.
From 2007 to 2012 she worked in Optical Stores Anastasiades in Rhodes.
In 2012, Rhodes Optometrist Irini Katsouraki founded the Center for Low Vision Rehabilitation and Irlen Syndrome detection. It is a pioneering center for Rhodes with modern means of rehabilitation providing high-level services. At the same time, he has founded the optician’s shop Optica Katsouraki.
I found that in many cases learning difficulties, guidance, coordination, behaviour, concentration and low vision care necessitate the further care in my place and for this reason I wanted to inform the citizens and especially the schools. Through my site I hope to help in the proper treatment of Irlen syndrome and low vision because I believe that all people are entitled to have the right quality of life.
